What is the formula for a confidence interval for a population mean when the standard deviation is known?

The formula is x̄ ±  Zα/2 (σ/√n) where x̄ is the sample mean, Zα/2 is the Z-score for the confidence level, σ\sigmaσ is the population standard deviation, and n is the sample size. ​
